The mission of the Amesbury PTA, in common with those of the National PTA, is threefold:
  • To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children.
  • To rein the standards of home life by assisting parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children.
  • To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.

The PTA sponsors fun family events such as:

  • Science Fair
  • Ice Cream Social
  • Family Fun Fair
  • Mother-Son Dance
  • Vacation Events: (swimming, bowling, roller skating, movies)

The PTA offers an After-School Enrichment Program - Last year 454 students enjoyed 36 classes such as:

Come have coffee with Principal Walter Helliesen, along with other parents and guardians on Thursday, May 17th at 9:30am in the AES cafeteria.  This is a great opportunity to have discussions and ask questions in an informal setting.
