1.  Welcome - Introduction of Officers and Board Members

2.  Budget Proposal for 2008-2009 :  Dee Cote reviewed the budget proposal highlighting the differences from last year.  The main differences are :

• Increase Inschool Programming by $500.00 to include Preschool
• Increase Teacher Appreciation money by $500.00.
• Add $5000.00 for ACE grants

Julie O'Neill motioned to approve the amended budget as indicated on attached budget proposal.  Lisa Cassidy seconded the motion.  The vote was unanimous to approve the amended budget.

3.  Fund Raisers for next year - Linda Lynch -

• Fall fundraiser  -Christoline - This year we wll have the goods shipped to the school.  Last year with direct ship there were too many issues which we weren't made aware of immediately.  We will also get 5% more in profit with the shipment going to the school.
• Spring - Yankee Candle
• Coco Key Fundraiser - Monday, November 10th, 2008 - Teacher's professional day.
• Shaws - Save your receipts and hand them into the school and we will get $47 for every $5000.00 worth of receipts (about 1%).
• Square 1 Art
• Email Linda with your fundraising ideas

4.  Membership Discussion will be in the summer.  How to get better attendance at general meetings and more involvement.

5.  Volunteer Celebration - Thrusdaym June 5th, at the Barn from 7:00-9:00pm.

6.  With Julie Amery resigning as President she appointed Sherri Ziomek as PTA President for the remainder of her 2 year term.

7.  Raffle for one free After-School Enrichement class was won by Cindy Russell.

9.  Mother/Son dance is tentatively set for November 22, 2008.  Saturday

10.  Tracey Aldrich motioned to adjourn the meeting.  The motion was seconded by Kerri Dalton.  The vote was unanimous to adjourn the meeting at 7:15pm.
