October 21, 2009

Attending: Sherri Ziomek, President; Kristen Dore, AES Vice President; Carolyn Tremblay, CES Vice President; Dee Cote, Treasurer; Dawn Pelletier, Secretary; Kerri Dalton, Ice Cream Social; Linda Lynch, Fundraising; Lisa Cassidy, Family Vacation Events; Jean McCarthy, Membership/Volunteer Coordinator; Carey Creps, Hospitality; Becky Bailey, Square One Art; Lara Heline, Gail Browne and Angie Campbell Website

Topics Discussed:

• Board Members met at 6pm followed by General Meeting at 6:30pm. Approx 26 pax in attendance. Described events to newcomers, seeking volunteers.

   

• Star Party - scheduled for Feb. 26.

   

• Science Fair- scheduled for Feb 27. Looking for volunteers for both events. Contact Julie O’Neil.

   

• Square One Art- Becky informed us that gross sales approx $14,000. Art work completed and shipped out to the company.

   

• New Website- in the process of updating. Contact Angie Campbell if interested in updating.

   

• Spirit Wear- will be in backpacks shortly.

   

• After School Enrichment- 3x a year. First signup completed. Dawn Black is looking for replacement for next 2 events.

   

• Mom/Son Dance- theme is “Where the Wild Things Are”, scheduled for Nov 14, at 6:30pm, at Cashman. Dee looking for ideas, assistance, etc.

   

• Treasurer Update- Dee discussed all line items.

   

• Teacher Appreciation- Dawn Pelletier to head this event, seeking volunteers. Dec 2 at Cashman, Dec 3 AES.

   

• Fall Fundraiser- pickup Nov 20.

   

• Principals coffee- scheduled first or second week of November from 9am-10am.

   

• Vacation Events- seeking volunteers. Contact Lisa Cassiday.
