There are 133 students and 93 projects entered into this year’s fair! – that’s a lot of Science Superheroes! Display boards have been picked up and experiments are (potentially) underway. If you did not get your display board this weekend, please contact Julie at sciencefair@amesburypta.org.
Science Fair participants should expect to receive a time confirmation for their presentation by email the week before the fair. Presentation times will be between 9am and 12pm on the big day – Saturday, February 27th, at the High School cafeteria. Please be prepared to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time to set up your display. Due to the complexity of scheduling 93 presentations, we regret that changes in presentation time cannot be accommodated. There will be many free activities going on for scientists of all ages throughout the day, so plan on making a day of it! More details to come.
Bring your whole family to the Star Party on Friday February 26th from 6:30 – 8:30 at the Cashman School gym and cafeteria. See the stars in the night sky with the help of the North Shore Amateur Astronomers and in the Museum of Science ’s indoor Starlab Planetarium. Advance sign-up is required for the Indoor Planetarium. Please see the flyer in this week’s poly for more details! NOTE the STAR PARTY has been postponed new date TBD.
Early bird t-shirt sales end this Friday, please return advance orders to the science fair box in your school’s office. Advance t-shirt orders will be sent home with your child the week before the fair. There will also be a limited amount of science fair t-shirts available at the Star Party and Science Fair for $10.
